Republicans defend freedom and the idea of small government that’s what Republicans do.
The fight for freedom continues!
Ron calling for a grand march on Washington to combat the media blackout and make history! He also makes it very clear that he is in the fight to win the nomination and become president.

Of course the enemy is trying to persuade you that he is, trying to discourage you. If you discourage yourself, you are doing exactly what they want. I was there, saw and heard it all, and saw no sign of discouragement in the candidate or in the roaring and chanting celebrants. The enemy concocted this new, preposterous assertion because Dr. No has sensibly adjusted his tactics to conform to the latest events.
“As the results of this weekend have made clear, many Republican voters are not satisfied with our party’s likely candidate for president, John McCain.
When I signed up to be a Precinct Committee Officer for my precinct in Seattle, I received a barrage of strange calls. Two of them came from the GOP district chair. In the first call, he asked how committed I was to the Republican Party. I truthfully said that I grew up in a Reagan household, served in the military, supported Rossi for Governor in 2004, and have voted only for Republican presidential nominees.
No matter where he goes in politics, as a presidential candidate and a congressman – and both vibrant campaigns aim for victory – the future for Ron as a movement leader is secure, and of that there can be no question. After a lifetime of principled statesmanship, a long shelf of books that he has written and nationwide respect for being the one man who dares speak against the status quo, he has made his mark on history. What it shows is that even in dark times such as ours, there are people who are willing to stand up and hold a candle and light the way to the future. To them we owe the whole of our civilization.
In a few supporter forums the idea is going around that one way to help Ron Paul might be to vote for Mike Huckabee in the hope that if Huckabee wins enough delegates we might get a brokered convention in the fall. Most of the supporters who like this idea at least say that it should only be tried in those winner-take-all primary states where Ron Paul has the least favorable odds.
Yes, that’s a Cuban flag, emblazoned with an image of Che Guevara, Fidel Castro’s old comrade in Communist terror.
by Pastor Chuck Baldwin
Dr. Paul's Honest Money Act (HR 2756) would establish an alternative, modern gold currency system that would encourage the Fed to not devalue the dollar. The government would be forced to stay within budget, defend all expenditures and drain the trough at which the D.C. lobbyists feed.
We must avoid this by taking an active role in deciding our nation's future: we should begin thinking like revolutionaries. Congress will not grant Ron Paul a legislative field day, and even in two terms of office, Paul cannot implement all the changes we need. But a victory for Ron Paul will serve as a catalyst for a permanent shift in public perception and government accountability. As soon as we take responsibility for regulating and selecting our government, we can begin working toward a restoration of the principles and values for which America once stood.
According to Dent, Ron Paul received 31 percent of the Grant County vote, John McCain received 27 percent, Mitt Romney received 25 percent, Mike Huckabee received 16 percent and about 1 percent was uncommitted.
Everyone who has become a part of Ron Paul's campaign for the presidency has experienced first-hand the stranglehold of existing media outlets. These outlets are presently virtually all owned by the existing corporatocracy. Because they are all working in their own financial and political self-interest, they have refused to allow the message of Ron Paul and freedom go forth to the nation.
Those individuals that made use of the Ron Paul Revolution to educate and free as many minds as possible feel a great sense of accomplishment and will be energized for the rest of this campaign cycle (if not the rest of their lives) to continue at whatever level their busy lives will comfortably allow (pace yourself, this is a very long and drawn out process). I don’t know when the pendulum will start going towards freedom, but I am certain that each day brings us closer. This process does not happen all at once,… but it does happen overnight. One day we will wake up to a totally new paradigm and our preparation will allow us to take advantage of the opportunity to take a very large step in the liberty direction.
Many media outlets are doing a very poor job of estimating how many delegates each Republican candidate has so far won. They calculate the delegate count from caucus states as if it were a reflection of the straw poll votes in the caucuses. But it’s actually more complicated than that — the straw polls rarely count for anything other than bragging rights. The delegates are the substance of the contest, because they’re the ones who select the nominee at the National Convention.
We have a bought-and-paid-for media who are doing a fine job appeasing the agenda of the political insiders. They have done a fine job of hiding Rep. Ron Paul from the American people.
Talk of abolishing the private Federal Reserve, eliminating fractional reserve banking and returning America to a truly conservative humble foreign policy is so prevalent that it's a topic of discussion on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. Such a thing was unheard of five or ten years ago.
The SoS wants to end the recount so that the destroyed evidence do not have to be accounted for! Again, we cannot let this happen! Three weeks of hard work would be going down the drain!
John McCain will do or say anything to become President. Discover the truth.
Three states are holding their primaries on Tuesday, Feb 12: Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC. Please do your part! If you live in any of those localities, please vote and bring as many Ron Paul supporters along as you can. If you don't live there, you can still donate and also sign up to be a precinct leader.
As a United States Congressman, I take my oath to uphold all of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights very seriously. Unfortunately, too many in Washington DC believe they can pick-and-choose which provisions of the constitution they can uphold. For example, many politicians, judges, and bureaucrats believe they have the power to disregard our right to own guns, even though the second amendment explicitly guarantees the people's right to "keep and bear arms."
Don't wait for some fancy "money bomb" date to tie your donation to. The Texas primary is March 4th and he needs the money right now to defend his district from being taken over by a warmongering man who supports the Patriot Act and the host of neo-con laws and efforts to turn America into a fascist state.
I have heard thousands of people going back to that tired old argument that they don't want to "waste" a vote on Ron Paul. Well, folks, I am here to tell you flat out - if you vote for anyone else you have not only wasted your vote, but you have wasted your time. Every other man and woman in this race will give you more of the same. Not one other person running has discussed the need and the where and the how to cut spending. If the government does not cut spending, what do you really think this country will look like in four more years? Better? If so, you don't get why we are in the mess we are in right now.
"I can not support anybody with the foreign policy he advocates, you know, perpetual war. That is just so disturbing to me," Paul said. "I think it's un-American, un-Constitutional, immoral, and not Republican."
Today, there were two political rallies at the Civic Center in Lake Jackson, Texas--one held by Ron Paul's opponent for congress, neocon Chris Peden, and one held by Ron. Peden had about 50 supporters. Meanwhile, a plane from the Ron Paul Air Force towed a banner; Ron Paul buses thronged the parking lot. People wore every sort of Revolutionary attire, and giant banners lined the roads to the center.
Huckabee made the Judicial Watch top ten list of most corrupt politicians for 2007 and got a failing grade in 2006 from the Cato Institute for fiscal policy. Gov. Huckabee also has one of the highest pardon rates of any governor in history. This includes the pardon of convicted rapist Wayne Dumond, who went on to hurt two other women after being released. These are not the records of conservatives!
We’ve added a new function to our Precinct Leaders page — now Precinct Leaders in states that have already voted can get the names and phone numbers of undecided voters in other states with upcoming primaries and caucuses. Call ‘em up, be friendly and persuasive, and win their votes for Ron Paul.
Ron Paul's speech at CPAC and his military support is discussed on the Mike Church Show heard daily on Sirius Sattelite Radio
Dayton, Ohio - February 10, 2008 - First a blimp…now a race car? According to the Project for Excellence in Journalism, the presidential candidacy of Ron Paul gets virtually no coverage by the news media. So supporters of the 10-term Texas Representative have brainstormed an array of creative tactics to take their candidate's message directly to voters. Their latest effort may be the most audacious: sponsorship of a NASCAR race team in the name of the anti-war Republican.
The story continues in this corrupt state of parishes, poor drainage, and careless politicians. Three complaints have been filed by the Ron Paul campaign with the Louisiana Republican party (LA GOP). These three complaints might change the official outcome of the caucuses in time for the state convention on 16 February, or they may become the basis for a lawsuit, including potentially a restraining order to prevent the party from holding the state convention without following its own rules.
Perhaps the most powerful reason for supporting Ron Paul is that Objectivist ethics is based upon the non-aggression axiom: man has the right to use force only to repel (or punish, or retaliate against) prior aggression; it is improper, entirely improper, to initiate violence against those not guilty of so doing first against us. There is nothing in the Objectivist philosophy that would support attacking nations that never even threatened us, let alone attacked us. And, becoming policeman of the world should be dismissed by all logically consistent Objectivists as nothing less than altruism or socialism.
Dear Readers, I never inject much of my personal opinion but I think we should send this Chris Peden a message for trying to smear Ron Paul with sophomoric lies and deceit. Look at this smear ad this GOP choosen [aka Neocon] charlatan is distributing.
As Republican voters and True Conservatives, we oppose any effort to promote, support, or endorse Senator John McCain as the Republican nominee for President in 2008. As Republican voters and True Conservatives, we will only support candidates who promote the philosophy and principles of conservatism in government; who promote smaller government, fiscal discipline, and greater economic and personal freedoms; and whose records of public service are evidence of their principled beliefs.
"The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government - lest it come to dominate our lives and interests." - Patrick Henry
Many thought all signs were pointing to Paul dropping his bid for the White House.
A Message From Ron Paul About The Dual Battle For His Congressional Seat & The Presidency. He Needs All our Support
As you know, if running for President weren’t enough of a challenge, I have been at the same time seeking reelection to my congressional seat in Texas. The election law in Texas allows people like me, and Lyndon Johnson, and Lloyd Bentsen to run for the highest office in the land while at the same time seeking reelection to the U.S. House or Senate. This law recognizes the importance of being able to allow a leader to seek to influence national opinion and politics without automatically giving up a position of leadership in the Congress.
The problem for McCain remains those anti-war Republicans and those Republicans carting signs around the halls of the Conservative Action Political Convention in Washington this weekend: "McCain=Amnesty.'' The combined albatross of immigration reform and the war represents a lot of baggage to carry into a general election in November in which Democrats will seek a renewed commitment to immigration reform and promises of ending the war.
What matters most are the delegates, and in several parts of the state Ron Paul has been winning more delegates than the straw poll results would suggest. We’ve seen this happen in several states: supporters of other candidates show up, vote in the straw poll, then leave — while Ron Paul supporters stay and vote in the delegate selection process. We’ve won delegates in precincts where we haven’t won the straw poll. We’ll have more news about this once all the Washington results are in.
By our very preliminary count from you reports it is looking like we have at least twice the delegates as the other candidates!!
There are many “uncommitted” votes in the Rebulican caucus (12.7% so far). Many of these uncommitted votes will be for Ron Paul. As noted in this Ron Paul message board, ”A lot of those uncommitted delegates are Ron Paul supporters.
A Republican Caller and Ron Paul supporter calls in to CSPAN in the wake of the Washington State Republican precinct caucuses, held on Saturday, February 09 2008.
The r3VOLution may go to Texas just to make sure _everyone_ knows that we understand the importance of having Ron Paul in Washington, D.C. to keep an eye on things for us ( Many that have already "voted" we'll get back to the national focus on the POTUS race after March 4th )
We, as Ron Paul Revolutionaries, have been reading lately about trusting your judgement regarding your decision to ultimately not run for President outside of the Republican party and I agree with your line of reasoning. The Republicans will indeed blame you for their inevitable defeat in November with an independent run. It is an ironic situation considering no one recognized your impact on the election, but would ultimately blame you for the outcome.
With Huckabee gaining enough delegates, McCain will not (mercifully) have a lock on becoming the Republican nominee. By September 1, when the Republican convention convenes, an economic tornado devastating the U.S. dollar and turning an inflationary recession into a depression could well turn the tables on the economically-challenged Republican candidates McCain and Huckabee.
“They know that the jig is up,” a young man at the Liberty Ball told AFP, saying that more and more people are seeing through the big media’s stage managed news, thanks to Paul’s freedom message and the way it inspires people to actively seek the truth about the state of the nation, instead of passively digesting the media’s “info-tainment” that masquerades as substantive news.
Republican Caucus Results: With 60% of the precincts reporting - Ron Paul 45%, Mike Huckabee 20%, John Mccain 17%, Mitt Romney 9%, Uncommitted 9%.
Thousands of primary votes invalid due to lack of oath
Except for TruVote, whose CEO was assassinated because his system had paper trail and receipt, Diebold (recently renamed), Ivotronix, and now Smartmatic are unconstitutional. Just like McCain not having the right to even run for President (since he was born in a U.S. Territory), these machines violate the Constitution by not allowing paper trail verification and denying our right to know if our vote is getting counted.
I may be naive about all this, but I think Romney’s “suspension” was an exploratory ploy to see if R.P. would then drop out in dismay of losing the chance at a brokered convention. He held fast to his unassailable position, and I predict that Romney will soon, then withdraw. The plan has been to jettison McCain all along but these things must be done delicately in order to avoid alienating the joe sixpack wing. So if you read between the lines you will see that Dr. Paul’s message was guardedly hopeful, not defeatist. Doctors learn, after a while to give you the worst case scenario so that in the event of a miraculous recovery, their treatment can be vindicated.
Republicans are itching to vote for Ron Paul because he speaks his mind, stands up for what's right and is a real conservative. And because they want to be part of a turning point in history. But they won't nominate him because he is not "electable". And by the boatload, Republicans will sit at home on polling day if McCain is the nominee because he won't fight against abortion, won't keep illegal aliens out, won't end the war, and won't end the spending.
Today we held our local district conventions and selected our delegates to the State convention in Alaska. We turned out the Paulites! Not only did we get a clear majority of delegates to the state (we were very organized and completely stealthy in this - it was like a surprise attack by Ron Paul), but listen to this...
Just wanted everyone to know that Precinct 2052 in Seattle, WA is all for Ron Paul. He won the delegates in this precinct and from what I could see he had a very good turn out at our Pooled Caucus here in Seattle. GO Ron Paul!!!!
Many people were young and you could easily pick them as Ron Paul supporters. However not all were young! One older gentlemen next to me (who had to be in his 60’s) was voting for Paul telling me while putting his fist on the table, “we got to bring the constitution back!”. I assured him the constitution is getting popular again. On the ride home I looked up and saw a biplane with the Ron Paul banner behind it, what a nice ending.
The Ron Paul R3VOLUTION will continue to fight to save the very existence of our country because Lady Liberty depends on her Patriots to fight the cause that cowards will not.
Dr. Ron Paul has now stated clearly in his February 8th letter, “I am committed to fighting for our ideas within the Republican party, so there will be no third party run.” He has NOT ended his campaign!
18. Hiding order beneath the cloak of disorder is simply a question of subdivision; concealing courage under a show of timidity presupposes a fund of latent energy; masking strength with weakness is to be effected by tactical dispositions.
A few news sources are misreporting Ron Paul’s e-mail from last night. The presidential campaign is not ending, not being suspended, and not even drawing down. It’s slimming down and ramping up — with over twenty states having already voted, we’ve shed staff, and we’re concentrating financial and organization resources on the remaining states. We’re going to the convention, and we’re fighting for every vote and every National Delegate along the way.
(5) Huckabee and McCain clearly have some sort of tacit alliance going on. That means that Huckabee's delegates may go over to McCain when he drops out so a vote for Huckabee is a vote for McCain which is a vote for Hillary.
As I mentioned earlier, the media should shoulder all the blame. America's two party system has become corrupt and dictatorial, to some degree. Once in Washington, potiticians are far removed from the people who voted them in office. The only thing constituents get in return for sending them to Washington is a nod of pork barrel spending, or grant allocation to their district.
Ron Paul in his speech suggested that the best way to serve the country is to 'bring the troops home', stop 'empire building', decrease the size of the government and to emphasize the importance of national security by more effectively patrolling America's borders at home.
Inflation went up 4.1 percent last year. Milk increased 13 percent, bread went up 7.4 percent, and the price of eggs went up 29.3 percent. Gas is staying over $3 per gallon, and so is heating oil. These price increases are a hardship for working and middle class families and those on fixed incomes. We all buy the things above, and we're all affected by the price increases, especially when wages only went up by .9 percent.
Whether or not Ron Paul achieves the Republican nomination, it is essential that we help his message of freedom and prosperity to continue to reach a wider audience. The only way we will take back our country is for the freedom message to spread like wildfire! Our children and grandchildren need us to press on!

ASSOCIATED PRESS: The heck with Congress’ big stimulus bill. The way to get the country out of recession - and most people think we’re in one - is to get the country out of Iraq, according to an Associated Press-Ipsos poll. Pulling out of the war ranked first among proposed remedies.
BE AT YOUR WA STATE CAUCUS LOCATION NO LATER THAN NOON to be safe.
had. If I may quote Trotsky of all people, this Revolution is permanent. It will not end at the Republican convention. It will not end in November. It will not end until we have won the great battle on which we have embarked. Not because of me, but because of you. Millions of Americans -- and friends in many other countries -- have dedicated themselves to the principles of liberty: to free enterprise, limited government, sound money, no income tax, and peace. We will not falter so long as there is one restriction on our persons, our property, our civil liberties. How much I owe you. I can never possibly repay your generous donations, hard work, whole-hearted dedication and love of freedom. How blessed I am to be associated with you. Carol, of course, sends her love as well.
Now that Mittens has dropped listen to this outrage.
Because of his widespread unpopularity, the fact that John "100-Year War" McCain appears to have been selected by voters in the Republic of California is in and of itself highly suggestive of election rigging. Even a casual review of the California Secretary of State website [where election results are displayed for 53 districts] strains rational credulity to believe that voters across the state could possibly have been so homogeneous in their choices. Just start here and click "Next District" repeatedly, and ask yourself whether results for the four major candidates could have possibly been so "level" across the state. This amounts to a "statistical miracle" as observed in a recent Lew Rockwell column.
2. Cheaper drugs for seniors Paul supports the rights of seniors to purchase cheap, foreign prescription drugs and believes that individuals should have complete control over such medical choices, especially when government regulation of these decisions can have a negative impact on a person’s finances. He also supports the establishments of tax credits for seniors who require costly prescriptions.

Not quite an endorsement, but Clint Eastwood had appreciative words for Ron Paul when asked by Fox News’ Neil Cavuto for his thoughts on the small-government candidate:
A Romney supporter I know told me that Paul’s speech convinced him to support Paul. “I may not agree with Paul on Iraq, but saving the Republican Party is more important than that single issue,” a pregnant Romney supporter said to me. “This nomination is about turning the Republican Party back to conservative values and Ron Paul is the last candidate standing who has any.”
If your state’s primaries or caucuses are still upcoming, please join the Precinct Leader program immediately and start getting out the vote for Ron Paul. Your donations remain essential as well — the media is constructing a narrative in which John McCain is already the nominee and Mike Huckabee is his nominal opposition. But, if anything, the race is even more fluid now. Your support keeps Dr. Paul fights — and fighting ever harder. Romney’s down; Huckabee is next. And then John McCain.
Ron needs to defend his Congressional seat GOP nomination against a Neo-Con scumbag they are using to try to take his seat. We need to support Ron in his parallel run to keep his congressional seat just in case we don’t get him into the Presidency. Now is the day. He requires only $400K to defend his congressional seat. So even chipping in $10 or $20 each could really help!
"We have lost House seats not because we aren't compassionate, but because we aren't conservative," he said.
For 34 years, I have been voting for the lesser of two (or more) evils. What I really want is a candidate who won't lower himself to the petty name-calling to which we've become accustomed. I'd like a candidate who has studied, understands and respects the Constitution; who realizes how it nurtured a great nation only to be relegated to mediocrity through arrogance, ignorance and selfishness. How about a candidate who appeals to the voters not by promising them what they want, but by telling the truth, regardless of how painful it may be? How about a candidate who can back his positions with a voting record of more than 20 years?
All we have to do is give him our government stimulus welfare checks when they come in the mail - or earlier, since we already know they are coming, and Ron Paul's campaign can have another $60 Million in a flash to fight all the way through to the convention. (107,000 Meetup members, minus probably 7,000 who are "maxed out", times $600 - equals $60,000,000 friggin' dollars!)
Which presidential candidates voted for Real ID?
If you think he is out of the race then watch this![With Mittens gone it even better.]
The key moments in the speech were harsh statements of his foreign policy and attacks on John McCain. That latter stuff was red meat for this conference. After one subdued mention of McCain's pledge to keep troops in Iraq for a hundred years if needed, Paul said "McCain" had a few troublesome friends.
Clearly spooked by a few of Rep. Ron Paul's second-place finishes kind of close behind him, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney has dropped out of the race for the Republican presidential nomination. Romney was so flustered in his dropout speech to the Conservative Political Action Committee in Washington Thursday, that he didn't even mention Ron Paul.
The press release says that Paul has also hired Leon Hadar, the Cato scholar who pointed out 15 years ago that when the Cold War fizzled out and it was no longer our base in Arabia against the Soviet Union, Israel had to come up with a new modus-dependi for the United States. Radical Islam! The idea of the usefulness of Radical Islam has been echoed in the last year by Mearsheimer and Walt and Trita Parsi.
Ok, we've established that Romney's out. He ran a good campaign -- and for whatever reason, he's out. Now we must focus on how we can take advantage of this situation -- because this is a HUGE advantage people! Wake up and smell the coffee! Not only is it a three man race now, but there will be A LOT more voters available. We need to stick to our game plan, which is GET MORE VOTES!
Report on Presidential Media Coverage - Week of Jan 28th - Feb 3rd. Absolutely NO MEDIA For Ron Paul. The Media Is Our Enemy.
I rang up the author of the report, Mark Jurkowitz, last week. I discussed with him the fact that even HE had left Dr Paul off his graph, and asked him to include Dr Paul in the graph, along with everyone else. He refused at the time, saying that Dr Paul didn't get enough media attention to warrent his inclusion. I pointed out that the fact that Dr Paul WASN'T getting the media attention WAS the story, and such needed to be exposed by his organization.
This is only the beginning of a series of videos to show why Dr. Ron Paul MUST be elected President Of The United States of America.
Paul gave a rousing speech at CPAC today, February 7th, that was very well received. In a wonderful gesture, attendees reported that that Romney supporters gave up their display table to the Paul supporters after Mitt’s announcement!
Hope when it seems all hope is lost is one of the great paradoxes of human behavior and I have never seen this to be truer than during the presidential primaries this year. I have witnessed something this year that I never would have even thought about previously - the Big Media essentially choosing who is a viable candidate and who is not.
With Mitt Romney dropping out of the Presidential race and Mike Huckabee likely to join him very soon, the mainstream media will soon be faced with a situation they never thought possible (and tried their best to avoid), a head-to-head between John McCain and the "people´s champion" Ron Paul!
Tonight Ron Paul participated in a national conference call to his supporters. He spoke for about 12 minutes. He reiterated that his candidacy isn’t all about him, but is rather a movement. He said we must continue to do what we are doing. This is only the beginning of the revolution.
More Wars, the Jobs are not comming back & the illegals are here to stay.
Ron Paul has very strong and wide support in Washington State. This is the second most populous state in the west. McCain NEEDS Washington State. They will try and give it to him, by hook or by crook. Washington State changed its rules in 1988 (it is now a combiination caucus/primary state), which is confusing. Confusion invites disenfranchisement and fraud. The Caucus is February 9th, the Primary is 10 days later on February 19th.
In his appearance on Tavis Smiley's All-American Presidential Forum, Ron Paul impressed me immeasurably with his ability to actually address this extraordinarily important issue. While other candidates either refuse to show up, or divert attention from their unwillingness to actually do things clearly within their power as President, Ron Paul spoke clearly to what he supported.
This is a call to all Washington Ron Paul Supporters!!! Our Presidential Caucuses are coming up THIS SATURDAY Feb. 9th 2008. Many people do not attend caucuses because they do not understand what takes place. Washington State has put out a pamphlet that helps to explain our states caucuses with dates and times. My only issue with this is that it says show up @ 1 PM and really you should be at least 45-30 minutes early to your caucus. Anyways read up!!! See you Saturday!
Oh boy, is this the imbecile people are voting for? Get off the double talk express!
If Americans want to continue mired in debt and Big Government and even bigger, unwinnable wars, then go the way of the conventional politicians with their baggage and bad ideas. If they want something that appears new, fresh and honest – yet only enshrines the founding fathers’ princples, then Ron Paul is without doubt, their man.
McCain can’t win so he is being nominated because he can’t win. Who would vote for this guy? get real, he’s a joke, he’s the new Kerry, once he gets nominated than the bad stuff will come out to bury him and pave the way for Clinton.
Just looking at the Ron Paul supporters at Nolan Chart is an amazing thing to witness. Passion is flowing from the columnists and all those reading and replying, the Ron Paul Revolution is a strong group of patriots, the restoration of our nation is in good hands and strong hearts!
Rep. Ron Paul was exactly right when he said we should dismantle our empire. We simply don't need permanent military bases in places like Germany, Japan, South Korea, the Balkans and the Middle East. The Pentagon admits to more than 700 foreign bases. This dispersal of military forces is expensive and unnecessary for our security.
NOW IS THE TIME TO WIN MICHIGAN.
YouTube keeps removing this video. Why?
After the smoke cleared at the Conservative Political Action Conference – the public withdrawal of Mitt Romney from the Republican presidential race, and the attempt of John McCain to make friends with the party’s staunchest conservatives – a conservative crowd-pleaser stepped forward .
Their problem is that Ron Paul doesn't take marching orders. Not from them, not from anyone else. Never has, never will. That's precisely why he must not win - at least in the book of those who think they (still) run this country.
"Fourth and finally, the Romney flake-out signals a new correlation of forces. Ron’s percentages will only go up and while the Official Punditry will want to coronate McCain, as long as Huck and Ron hang tough the battle continues. Ron can concentrate this attack on foreign policy and the 100 Year War as well as the financial meltdown and government bankruptcy. He will only garner more attention and sharpen the contrast. Ron has a lot to say about the economy as well as the war (and other ideas) and the truth here will stand in shining contrast to McCain’s foolish blather.
Come June, McCain will have won 211 more delegates… 703 + 211 = 914 Let’s say McCain pulls out the win in Texas… 914 + 138 = 1052 McCain is still short of the 1,191 delegates necessary to win the nomination. Add in Ohio, and he’s still short. AND these states (except 3) are not winner take all states - meaning the delegates will be split and distributed to 2nd and 3rd place finishers…
As I wrote before in greater detail, the modern Southern political world is built around 2 things - militarism and government subsidized agriculture. Which is why the region LOVES McCain and Huckabee. No region receives more taxpayer dollars from increased military spending than the South, and the relatively large dominance of agriculture over modern urban economies means that the South is a tax receiver region. The rest of us pay the taxes that flow to Dixie.
When Gabe Razzano went to the polling place on Tuesday evening where his mother tried to vote for Ron Paul he was told the same thing, "Ron Paul has dropped out of the race" He was actually shown the display card which by law must hang on the wall and where they had crossed out Ron Paul's name along with Rudy Giuliani's.
Don't lose heart. In Ron We Trust. Keep the faith, don't give up, ever.
Today Mitt Romney dropped out of the race. He had hundreds of delegates committed to him. Many of these delegates are now free to vote for an alternate candidate. Does anyone really believe that Romney's supporters want to vote for McCain after the savage attacks that McCentury levied on Romney? They will be looking for a Conservative alternative to McCain. Right now that means either Huckabee (if he can keep going) and Paul.
There is only one place for the conservatives in the Republican party to turn to now. It is another presidential campaign. It is one that has been under the radar for most of this race. It is a campaign that has tried to start a change in the American mindset.
ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA – Today University of Chicago professor Robert Pape has joined the Ron Paul 2008 campaign as a foreign policy advisor. Dr. Pape is the foremost expert on suicide terrorism and the founder of the Chicago Project on Suicide Terrorism. He is also the author of Dying to Win: The Strategic Logic of Suicide Terrorism and has published numerous articles on suicide terrorism and the use of air power in war. Regarding the campaign, Professor Pape said, “Ron Paul's campaign is making a lasting contribution to the security of the United States and its allies. Indeed, I often tell audiences ‘Ron Paul has the right foreign policy to safeguard America.’”
This is what we have waited for: One on One. It will be up to us to make sure that Paul has enough money to continue this fight. It will be up to us to make sure that the rest of the states get to voice a preference. It will be up to us to make sure that there are debates between Paul and McCain. The Time is Now.
Precinct by precinct, town by town, county by county, a decentralized political movement could begin to undermine the legitimacy the existing political structure. It can do so politely, helpfully, and sympathetically.
Looks like Mitt Romney is calling it quits. Ron Paul still stands as the real conservative alternative to John McCain. Romney had been competing fiercely for many of the same states as Dr. Paul. Romney’s voters are now up for grabs.
Officer McLamb explains that as a Vietnam veteran, he knows and is in contact with veterans, and a few P.O.W.s. "All the P.O.W.s that I've talked to over the years say that John McCain is a lying skunk...."
Anyone who has not listened carefully to what Congressman Ron Paul is saying should probably have a quick listen. Congressman (and Presidential Candidate) Paul has served on The House Banking Committee and The Financial Services Committee. If anyone is in a position to see what our country has in store financially it is this man.
Public schools are increasingly forming partnerships with corporations and handing over the responsibility for educating our children to private interest. The danger of this was never clearer to me than when my son brought home the January 18, 2008 edition of Time for Kids, a subsidiary of TIME INC. The front page featured each of the Republican and Democratic presidential candidates except Ron Paul. They even included Fred Thompson!
Where to start. Let's begin with the statement I made in my last column that women will vote for Marxist Hillary Clinton just because she has two mammary glands and a vagina. This brought quite a bit of angry emails from "empowered" females who can't list the first ten Bill of Rights, know nothing about federal jurisdiction, have zero idea how the social security taxing scheme works or where their "income" tax dollars actually go, but they can tell you who wore Prada at their last "empowerment" luncheon. All they want is a female elected, even if it's an "ignorant" vote as so stated by Holly in this 2:16 second video clip. "I am voting for Hillary because she is a woman and I don't care if that is an ignorant reason, I want a woman in charge."
Congressman Ron Paul has signed on as a cosponsor of legislation that would prohibit the Secretary of Veterans Affairs from collecting certain debts owed to the United States by members of the Armed Forces and veterans who die as a result of an injury incurred or aggravated on active duty in a combat zone.
“West Virginia Romney supporters thought we would leave the convention after the first round,” Burgess said. “We caught them off guard. They underestimated us. They believed their own lies about Dr. Paul and his supporters.”

However, there is another option. We can use people from out-of-state to speak for Ron Paul at these rural caucus locations. We already have a couple volunteers from Missouri but we need more.
Have faith, people will wake up. A lot of people still do not even know who Ron Paul is, much less what his principles are. We have 8 months to educate.
Everyone is putting in long hours on this campaign — Dr. Paul, the campaign staff, and the grassroots volunteers who are working to organize their neighborhoods and spread the word about Ron Paul. Campaigning is grueling at all levels. But seeing Dr. Paul last night was revitalizing: he is more cheerful and dedicated than ever, even in the face of difficult odds. That sounds like a pretty good definition of a hero to me.
Without Ron Paul in the race, there would be no talk about the size and scope of our military and its effect on our foreign policy. If Ron Paul was not in this race, the problem of fiat money would not have even come up. In fact, without Ron Paul, I doubt if the Constitution would have even been mentioned.
Talking about Ron Paul and again not understanding that his message of true freedom is why people are donating big money.
Ron Paul has been doing well in caucus states, and Minnesota was no exception. He received 16% at the caucus straw polls. But much more importantly, he captured an estimated 9 delegates to the national convention, finnishing 2nd to Romney and topping both McCain and Huckabee.

Last night, Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul won more delegates than any other candidate at the Missoula County Republican Caucus. Despite the now obviously high levels of support, the Montana Kaimin did not run a single article on Paul, nor did we include him in our election prediction scorecard.

1. They want to end the war now, not in five or 10 years like the Democratic candidates propose.
Ron Paul isn't perfect, but he's certainly got more brains and integrity than all of these so-called leaders combined. And no matter what you think about Ron Paul's views on the War on Terror, I have yet to hear anyone who really believes that McCain, Romney or Huckabee can be relied upon to end the massive, illegal rupture of our borders - in fact, just the opposite is true. But, Ron Paul clearly wouldn't let this nightmare continue if he was elected to be our next president.
Paul, for example, has bought time on KIRO-AM, KVI-AM and KOMO-AM, all news-talk stations, but also on music stations KCMS-FM and KMTT-FM.
CNN's Jack Cafferty reports.
With the results of many of the “Super Tuesday” primaries and caucuses now finalized, the Ron Paul campaign is now projecting that it has at least 42 delegates to the national convention secured. While much of the focus in yesterday’s Super Tuesday contests focused on preference poll numbers, Ron Paul caucus-goers were focused on securing delegates to the national convention. With dedicated supporters and an organization focused purely on securing delegates, the campaign has secured more delegates to the national convention in Minneapolis-St. Paul than caucus straw polls might otherwise suggest.
