NAFTA has been destroying our constitutional rights and independence. We must get out! Please ask our senators and congressmen to cosponsor and pass H. Con. Resolution 22 to withdraw from NAFTA, H. Con. Resolution 40 to stop the North American Union and pass H.R. 1146, sponsored by presidential candidate Representative Ron Paul, to get out of the tyrannical United Nations.
It was interesting, but not surprising, that the old-guard Republicans (Bush, Burns, Rehberg) stooped to all the underhanded, dirty tricks they could get away with at their state convention June 20 to make sure the Ron Paul delegates were eliminated from the national convention.
A look at the recent victories of North Carolina Republicans Walter Jones and BJ Lawson, whose unique campaigns were inextricably linked to, and in part defined by, that of 2008 GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul:
Paul's followers also succeeded in getting some of their cherished positions included in the official state Republican platform, such as abolishing the Patriot Act and the Federal Reserve -- positions that put the Nevada Republican Party at odds with the national Republican platform.
The Federal Reserve with its poor monetary policies has created this inflationary spiral and is destroying the value of the dollar. Ever since the Federal Reserve was created in 1913, the dollar is on a steady decline and increased inflation.
So there we have it: No endorsement before the Campaign for Liberty rally on Sept. 2, but perhaps one afterward. In the meantime, I expect Paul to have more and similar "kind words" for both Barr and Baldwin throughout the summer. I also fully expect to see both those candidates being given prime speaking slots at the Minneapolis rally.

Congressman Ron Paul has warned millions of radio listeners that the US is heading into a deadly confrontation with Iran, revealing his disbelief at members of Congress who have openly voiced support for a pre-emptive nuclear strike on the country.

Our government leaders no longer stand for the people they are supposed to serve. Instead of standing on a foundation of truth, they pander lies for personal gain to a populace worn down by incessant brainwashing in the form of corporate-owned television, radio, newspaper, magazines, and government schools designed to disseminate government-approved propaganda and make sure that Johnny cannot read the many legislative sleights of hand passed by Congress and shoved down the throats of people too busy to do anything about it. These leaders know exactly what they are doing. It is we the people that need to wake up and smell the coffee.
We are still mourning the great loss of our good friend, colleague, and freedom fighter, Kent Snyder. Kent literally gave his entire life to this great cause of liberty. He single-handily launched the Ron Paul 2008 campaign and was the chairman of the campaign until he was stricken with pneumonia. Tragically, he lost his battle with the sickness on June 26, 2008. Kent will be remembered by many.
Have you ever wondered what happened to the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence? Five signers were captured by the British as traitors, and tortured before they died. Twelve had their homes ransacked and burned. Two lost their sons serving in the Revolutionary Army; another had two sons captured. Nine of the 56 fought and died from wounds or hardships of the Revolutionary War. They signed and they pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor.

It’s also worth noting that Kent had nothing to do with the disastrously ambiguous “we’re winding down” announcement in March, which generally confused everyone and made the Ron Paul movement lose its momentum. In early 2008, Synder was ready for the campaign to morph into an organization. And while the latest RP venture, “The Campaign for Liberty,” looks promising, certainly more ground could have been gained if it were begun in February when Paul was still close to his peak of media attention.

What can I say? A politician who ended his presidental race for the Republican Party nomination transformed it into an actual movement for the young Americans who believe in restoring our Constitutional Republic. Ladies and gentlemen we are on the brink of making history. A movement that will surpass the hippie movement of the 60's. A movement that will undoubtedly bring real change to this country. A movement that can lead to actually restoring this republic through peaceful means.

The following statement is written by Congressman Paul about the pending financial disaster. He will introduce this statement as a special order and insert it into the Congressional Record next week. Fortunately, we have the opportunity to debut it first on the Campaign for Liberty blog. It reads as follows:
Paul didn't support the USA Patriot Act, while Barr did. Paul voted against the Iraq war resolution, while Barr did not. Barr also was a supporter of the war-on-drugs.

"The two, in my opinion, are essentially the same candidate," said Robert Fite, a student at Augustana College in Illinois who has signed up with the Barr campaign as an Internet activist to try to convert other Paul supporters.
“Neither the Federal Reserve nor the Treasury Department have been willing to take responsibility for the dollar’s slide over the past several years, while American consumers have been forced to pay continually higher prices for gasoline, heating oil and numerous other imported products upon which Americans depend,” Paul noted in his letter. “American consumers cannot afford to allow continued lax Congressional oversight of the Federal Reserve and the Treasury Department’s duties as stewards of the dollar, especially since the dollar is a major factor in the skyrocketing price of oil.”
Many of you are aware that Ron Paul officially suspended his campaign a couple of weeks ago. What many are not aware of, however, is that this campaign suspension was merely a legal formality, governing the use of Ron Paul's campaign donations.
In his latest book, written on the campaign trail and released in April, Congressman Ron Paul (R-TX14) clearly lays out the ideas behind his presidential run and a strong case for limiting the federal government to its constitutional bounds and reining in a runaway Washington, D.C. before it collapses of its own weight, crushing many of us with it.

It might be easy to dismiss Hannity as a mere hypocrite, but he's actually something much worse. Whereas Republicans like Ron Paul put America first, place the national interest above their party, and oppose wars conducted by both Clinton and Bush on the same principle, Hannity puts the Republican Party first and has no qualms about putting our troops in harm's way and policing the world so long as the sheriff's badge reads "GOP." I have no doubt that if our current war in Iraq was the work of President Al Gore, Hannity would oppose it as he did Clinton's war in 1999, simply because it was being waged by a Democrat.

Barack Obama’s supporters should be scratching their heads over their candidate’s recent moves. First, there was the increased tough talk toward Iran, now today brings word that Obama is planning to not only continue Bush’s faith-based initiatives, but to vastly expand them.
Over 25 congressional candidates running on a Ron Paul "Freedom" platform have united for a mass fundraising "Money Bomb" event July 4th to raise funds for their campaigns. Each www.FreedomSlate08.com candidate is committed to four major tenets: ending the overseas empire and bringing the troops home, ending the Federal Reserve, limiting the federal government to its proper Constitutional framework, and dismantling the police state.
Dr. Paul was already anticipating the battle that would take place between the vested interests of the old media, and the rising power of the new. “The numbers of people out there who are sick and tired of what they’re getting are strong enough that we can have a real impact and be very competitive,” he said. “We live in a new and modern age and nobody has truly measured [the potential reach of the internet]. I think Howard Dean got around the edges two years ago and did pretty well…but the technology continues to improve and the ability to reach millions of people at a very low cost is very intriguing.” How right he was!
This speech could have been made today and it would PERFECTLY describe what we have let our government do. King delivered Beyond Vietnam: A Time to Break Silence. In the speech he spoke strongly against the U.S.'s role in the war, insisting that the U.S. was in Vietnam "to occupy it as an American colony" and calling the U.S. government "the greatest purveyor of violence in the world today."
McCain and Obama basically agree on immigration, says an amazed Yahoo. What’s the big surprise? They basically agree on monetary policy, fiscal policy (John 100-Years-In-Iraq-Is-A-OK McCain is not credible here), global warming, and much more. Even foreign policy doesn’t really separate the candidates: Obama gives us a lot of boilerplate about how this is no time to retreat into “isolationism,” etc., and has grown hawkish on Iran.
Ron Paul's "The Revolution: A Manifesto" defies this convention. Writing at the end of his campaign, and therefore knowing he will not be the next president, Mr. Paul forcefully articulates our bedrock constitutional principles and energetically advances his argument that these principles can restore American greatness for years to come ,if we will only return to them now.
