Peter Schiff is Ron Paul's economic advisor to the campaign. Got Gold?
Anybody who thought this would be easy should understand that easy is not what this business is or is all about. This will take time, commitment and training. People have shown they are ready for that but, are they really and truly ready to "go the distance" on a multi-year process?
Never before had St. Charles County Republican Party Chairman Jon Bennett received so many queries about where this year's party caucus was to be held. And Bennett didn't recognize most of the callers.
This person makes an important point with conviction! He is from Norway. The message is important as yet again the media, now YouTube, decides to bury the only choice the real people want. Contains just a bit of adult language. I don't blame him though.
Ron Paul’s Missouri supporters aren’t giving up. Despite his distant fourth-place finish in the state’s presidential primary, with just 4.5 percent of the vote, more than a thousand Paul supporters crowded into Republican county caucuses this weekend, electing hundreds of delegates to upcoming congressional district and state conventions.
Congressman Ronald Paul came to the 2008 Presidential elections with no money, no campaign infrastructure, and no name recognition. He arrived with only an idea, but his idea compelled hundreds of thousands of Americans to donate over $32 million and create the largest grassroots movement in history. College students gave up their entire Christmas breaks to sleep in cold New Hampshire cabins and canvas for 16-hour days. Quick-witted Texas judges held signs at conventions and out-smarted the likes of Hugh Hewitt. People like me spent hours trying to explain the more esoteric aspects of a Paul presidency for the masses.
I have been closely following the 2008 Presidental race and I believe that Ron Paul should be the next president. While watching the Republican Primaries, it became clear that front runner John McCain is very opposite of what Dr. Ron Paul represents.March 17, 2008
Do You Hear the People Sing? They're singing the praises of Congressman Ron Paul, the only presidential candidate who is a true advocate of liberty and the Constitution. His campaign has sparked a real Revolution all across America and it's not over yet by a long shot.
Ron Paul began with nearly zero name recognition and was relegated from the beginning by all MSM media to the second tier. I believe pundits should recognize the great strides in achieving between 5 and 10% of the vote in almost every state and receiving 11% in a Rasmussen poll running as a third party candidate. Not to mention over 20% in several caucus states, including second place in Nevada, Montana, and Louisiana.
It appears that solid strategy and a well-organized grassroots campaign put Ron Paul on top of the Whatcom County Republican Party convention this weekend.
Ron Paul has steered our embedded short-term thinking to long-term thinking. People are now considering "long-term solutions" and a "long revolution" which may incur much sacrifice and suffering along the way. America can regain her stance as a strong nation, with a strong business base and a strong workforce, an increased savings rate, and a constitutional government — but it must start with us.
I have no doubt that those numbers will continue to climb. Even those who don’t support Ron Paul are awakening to what our government is up to. Closed door sessions. Denials of how poorly our economy is performing. Refusal to deal with any substantive issues while instead questioning baseball players as to steroid use.
"Freedom is never given by the oppressor, It must be demanded by the oppressed!"
In Missouri, plenty of counties had elected full pro-Paul slates of delegates to the congressional convention, and passed a series of earth-shaking resolutions. Some include opposition to the Iraq war, opposition to the Federal Reserve Act, a return to the gold standard, and plenty of other ones as well.
A Ron Paul volunteer and organizer in Kansas City confirms that the Jackson County Republican caucus elected a nearly-complete slate of Paul delegates at its convention Saturday.
Many economist and investors are now seeing the truth about the Federal Reserve. The question we should ask ourselves is why do we allow a private bank to have control over the nation’s money supply? The economic crisis we are facing today has been significantly compounded as a result of the Federal Reserve. They have bombarded the economy with more dollars driving the value of the dollar to almost nothing.
A forecast made by Denmark-based Saxo Bank, chaos will take a grip on the world in 2008. Oil prices will skyrocket to 175 dollars per barrel, the Chinese market will collapse by 40 percent, whereas the U.S. will suffer a 25-percent setback. All this will happen because of the mortgage crisis in the USA which already slows down the U.S. economy.
Americans had their chance to elect an anti-war president. Unfortunately most of them passed up that opportunity and fell for the slick political stylings of Barack Obama. While he talks about “change,” the only thing an Obama administration will change is the battlefield upon which our government wages its undeclared, illegal wars.
I know Peter's Father...he is a Patriot down to the core. He sacrificed everything to expose our corrupt government.
Supporting a welfare state is expensive as well. More than half of our budget goes to mandatory entitlements. The total cost of government now eats up more than half of our national income, as calculated by Americans for Tax Reform, and government is growing at an unprecedented rate. Our current financial situation is completely untenable, and the worst part is, as government is becoming more and more voracious, the economy is shrinking.
Discover the Right the Government hopes you never learn about! See the plan that will take the Revolution to the next level!
Our daily experience of sustained and substantial rising prices indicates that our current government-managed medical care does not work. Yet all the health care proposals of the major Presidential candidates ignore this fact, and at best they promise us more of the same. Only one candidate–Congressman Ron Paul–seems to have a solution; and it is already a bill in Congress. Dr. Paul’s “Comprehensive Health Care Reform Act” (H.R. 3343) according to DownsizeDC would:
Buying gold and holding it is somewhat analogous to converting one’s savings into one hundred dollar bills and hiding them under the mattress – yet not exactly the same. Both gold and dollars are considered money, and holding money does not qualify as an investment. There’s a big difference between the two however, since by holding paper money one loses purchasing power. The purchasing power of commodity money, i.e. gold, however, goes up if the government devalues the circulating fiat currency.
Did you know that the delegates can actually vote to unbind thier delegates that are bound by state rules? Did you know that delegates can actually overturn and previous vote? Did you know the delegates have control of the entire process?
Today in Saint Charles County Missouri, the largest Republican County caucus in the state 111 of a possible 137 Delegates were elected for Ron Paul. The St. Charles Caucus was a landslide turnout for Ron Paul.
Thought it was significant to note that at Haywood County's Convention, they elected 8 out of 10 delegates that are Ron Paulers! NC...especially WNC is a battleground for Ron Paul. We have a local candidate named Jimmy Goodman who has been following Paul for over 10 years, running for commissioner.

APRIL 15, 2008 MASS RALLY IN DC TO TAKE BACK AMERICA
Republicans fear aliens: principled supporters of what are, in popular rhetoric, Republican principles. In fact, of course, the Republicans are the preeminent party of fascism, perpetual war, the police state, militarism, socialism for the rich, nationalism, and dictatorship. No wonder they love the insane neocon (if I do not repeat myself) McCain, and reject Ron Paul.
A comparison of Ron Paul, Obama and Hilary.

I rise in opposition to this latest attempt to undermine our personal liberties and violate the Fourth Amendment of the Constitution. This bill will allow the federal government to engage in the bulk collection of American citizens’ communications. In effect, it means that any American may have his electronic communications monitored without a search warrant.
The High Tide could be a lifting anthem for the Ron Paul Revolution as it seeks ways to voice its message in the post-campaign era. The video features high quality 3-D animation and Dr. Ron Paul's voice. It's stunning imagery dramatically portrays the dark landscape of spreading wars and an unfolding economic wasteland that have resulted from bad policy.
This is what it’s all about. As Dr. Paul has mentioned previously, this campaign is only the beginning of a movement to take back the Republican Party and restore adherence to the Constitution. However, nothing will be accomplished unless each of us on an individual level is willing to fight to make it happen. Our forefathers pledged their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor to hand us a nation that was free. Were they perfect people? No. Are Dr. Paul or any of us perfect people? No. But the message they fought for and the cause we now champion is far too precious to let it breath its last in the face of indifference, greed, and rhetoric.
The delegates are bound to McCain only for the first few rounds of voting at the convention.
No matter how morally justified his comeuppance may be, his downfall demonstrates the worst of our society. The possibility of uncovering personal moral wrongdoing is never a justification for the government to spy on our every move and to participate in sting operations.
They interviewed 3,400 military personnel just recently, military leaders, and 82 percent of them said our military is weaker today than it was 5 years ago. So, all of this money spent and all this policing in the world, and all this deficit.
Reporters and editors in the mainstream media want to spin their stories, instead of reporting actual statements and events as they unfold without prejudice. The result is that not enough Americans know about “the other guy” still standing in the GOP field. This deceives the electorate when the nation is in dire straits—and when many who don’t want to vote Democratic also don’t like McCain but generally are not aware there is another choice.
The point of this article is to bolster our resolve to influence the discussion within the party and to influence the direction of the party by grooming appropriate candidates with our direct participation. If things are rough in your area or even if they are as repulsive as what is going on in our community, take heart, your efforts are effective if you stand on principle like Dr. Paul. Just stand.
Ron Paul on Fox Business 3/13/2008 and his expert opinion on the financial markets and the Federal Reserve's recent $200 Billion fiat money printfesT. Can you say INFLATION? Got Gold?
For months, during the most important and competetive phase of the Republican Primary, the one candidate with the knowledge and experience to lead us away from depression was cast aside and literally blacklisted. Now, with the economy on the verge of collapse and the nomination handed to Senator McCain by default, everyone suddenly wants to hear what Ron Paul has to say.
A Hawthorne man and Ron Paul supporter is fighting the borough after he said local code enforcement officers told him to remove two Ron Paul for president signs from his lawn.
Tell a friend!
Friends: NOW is the time for us to unite and come together, whether our primary cause is peace, labor, truth, human rights, American sovereignty, impeachment, environmental, voting rights, civil liberties, the Constitution or sound fiscal policy....or all of the aforementioned.
Now, that early video has been nominated for a 2007 YouTube Video Award in the “Politics” category. Your support can help put it over the top and further Dr. Paul’s message of freedom, peace, and prosperity.
Can you find Paul, Huckabee, Obama, Hillary and McCain?March 13, 2008
Polson Republican Sen. John Brueggeman could face some unexpected opposition from within his own party as he runs for re-election this year. Last week plans surfaced by conservative Bozeman Rep. Roger Koopman encouraging Ron Paul supporters to run against more moderate GOP incumbents.
We are gaining delegates all over the country…winning counties and congressional districts in state after state. Right here, the 47th District got 13 delegates, Benton County got 17, 45th Dist got 5 delegates, and Franklin County got 4 and they all got plenty of alternates as well!!
It long appeared inevitable, but it has now officially happened: today the price of gold hit the $1,000 mark. Wondering what’s so important about the $1,000 gold price? Well, let's see what Congressman Ron Paul has to say.
There are men and women all over the country running for office on the "Paulite" platform. It is as he said all along.....it's about the message.
Ron Paul March 12, 2008 C-SPAN doing what he does best; telling the difficult truth. Amazing.
This is why the mainstream media is desperate for Ron Paul to launch an independent or third party run for President. For then they would have another party crasher to ridicule. They could also say things like “Why is he running? He’s not going to win. All he’s doing is stealing votes away from a candidate who really can win.” So in the minds of the sheep out there in TV land, Ron Paul’s name will be forever tarnished. He will be cited as the reason why the loser lost. “If that darn Ron Paul wouldn’t have stolen all of those votes…”
On Tuesday, March 11, the US House of Representatives voted for the version of the Intelligence Authorization Act of 2008 that banned waterboarding and other forms of torture. The measure, previously passed by Congress, was vetoed by President Bush. This vote was an attempt to override the veto. It passed 225-188, but failed to get the 2/3 requirement to override the veto.
The Ron Paul Revolution has brought about a mass education to the public on the gold standard, the corruption of the banking industry, and the power elite in government that uses the state’s monopoly on power (and money creation) to further erode our freedoms, largely for their benefit.
When I was in New Hampshire and had a chance to talk with a fairly broad cross-sectioon of Paul volunteers from around the country, many talked about going back and seeking influence in their local GOP, running for various offices and eventually running for Congress. There should be some potential there. Ron won quite a few local straw votes consisting of Republican activists, so there’s sentiment for him and his ideas at the grassroots level.
“Ron Paul is the only one I’ve seen in American politics that seems to have a clue with what’s going on in the world.” -
This is the first election in over a hundred years to include a serious discussion on monetary policy, and more and more people are starting to realize that the “answers” we have been receiving from Washington don’t make any sense. It is our responsibility to spread the word and point to a better way. A great, simple introduction to true economic reform can be found in Dr. Paul’s recent op-ed on Forbes.com
Indeed, now comes a Dr. No interview with John Roberts, of the Communist News Network, on the network’s American Morning. “Paul told CNN that he would still compete for delegates in upcoming contests in Pennsylvania and elsewhere to accrue as many delegates as possible to vote on party platforms and other issues at the GOP convention this summer in Minneapolis.” This sounds to me like he is still in the race, still speaking economics to power. He is waiting for you to convince him, to tell him what to do.
The author of this video writes: "This is a video made for my speech class. Its ridiculous, but laughably....plausible." Plausible indeed since history tends to repeat itself.
We live in one of the most difficult times in history for guarding against an expanding central government. We are seeing a steady erosion of our freedoms. We have arrived here because our ideas, our words—and the actions that follow—have consequences. Homeschoolers, by-andlarge, understand that bad ideas have bad consequences, and even the best of intentions can have unintended consequences. We need to understand exactly what ideas brought us to this point. We can then, I hope, reject the bad ideas and reform our thinking toward a better set of intellectual parameters. Our goal should be to identify what ideas are now shaping our culture and work to sow the seeds of liberty for the generations who will come after us.
How many of the candidates, besides Ron Paul, have a serious, long-term economic plan, or are sounding the alarm about the grave economic issues facing the country? Instead, we see politics-as-usual, as they ignore our $9.4 trillion debt and give no attention to an estimated $59 trillion in unfunded federal obligations and entitlement programs (which equates to over $500,000 per household). One trillion is equal to one million times one million!
"My vote to override the President's veto is a vote to send a clear message that I do not think the United States should be in the business of torture. It is anti-American, immoral and counterproductive."
Mr. Chairman, I oppose HR 5512 because it is unconstitutional to delegate the determination of the metal content of our coinage to the Secretary of the Treasury. Under Article I Section 8 of the Constitution, the Congress is given the power to coin money and regulate the value thereof. It is a shame that Congress has already unconstitutionally delegated its coinage authority to the Treasury Department, but that is no reason to further delegate our power and essentially abdicate Congressional oversight as the passing of HR 5512 would do.
Have you noticed, gentle reader, God has provided opportunity but Christians have not responded. The candidacy of Congressman Ron Paul was a God-sent opportunity for Christians to rally around an obedient politician whose record provided a testament to his integrity. Instead of supporting this good man Christian leaders play politics with pagans and conduct themselves by pagan rules. We do not need leaders like James Dobson, Pat Robertson, or even an aging icon like Billy Graham. We need leaders who accurately perceive reality and are willing to confront sin with God’s righteousness without regard for their reputation or consequences.
Again Neil asking about 3rd party.
Today saw the resignation of Adm. William J. Fallon, the top U.S. military commander in the Middle East. Recently, controversy surrounded Admiral Fallon due to an Esquire article that portrayed the Admiral as being at odds with President Bush over the administration’s approach to Iran.
For example, I could not tell you how many times I have listened as speaker after speaker praised and promoted the candidacy of the "conservative" John McCain. These are the same people, mind you, that in 2004 properly identified McCain as the conservative phony that he was--and still is. Many of the same conservative organizations that rejected and repudiated McCain's 2004 candidacy now boldly extol its virtues. But it is not John McCain that has changed: it is today's conservatives.
On March 13th, stand up for liberty in PA.
The answer to this question is a resounding YES and we DO have a plan to do this. The first thing that you must do is FORGET about our fraudulent voting system, this plan has NOTHING to do with the ballot box. Understand that Dr. Paul KNEW that he would be defrauded by the vote stealing machines. So now, that being said, in an electoral system that is totally rigged, what do we do?
If you’re a registered voter in Mississippi, be sure to vote in your primary today, and get as many people to vote for Ron Paul along with you as possible! Each vote cast sends a message that it’s time for real change - not just a tinkering around with the status quo, but true, substantive change. The future of liberty in this nation is up to us.
The Libertarian Movement, though now considered grassroots, is a growing phenomenon popular with both young Republicans and Democrats alike, as it promises to finally bridge the gap between the two. Those who see the dangers of constitutional dismantlement, basic human rights, ultra-government intervention-control and sound international policies, may create a new face for America, where again "We, the people of the United States of America" might take back liberty and justice for all. In effect, it may finally bridge the ultra-idealistic gaps that so weaken us.
Barrack Hussein Obama owns the most liberal voting record in the Senate. Therefore, it is no surprise that he is the favorite candidate of a lot of the news media and left-wingers.
Don't stop believing
Due to heavy press coverage of today’s news concerning New York Governor Eliot Spitzer, Dr. Paul’s interview with Tucker Carlson will be rescheduled. We will be sure to let you know the new date as soon as we find out.
Mr. Burr single-handedly organized an effort that landed every local RP supporter in attendance on the state delegate list. And he did this all while volunteering on the hectic, high-pressure credentials committee for the county party.
Rep. Ron Paul M.D., congressman representing district 14 on the Texas gulf coast and champion of human liberty, discusses the relative powers of the president, congress and UN over U.S. foreign policy, his recent vote against a resolution condemning one side in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the counter-productive nature of American foreign policy in fighting al Qaeda terrorism and his upcoming “no” votes on warrantless wiretapping and immunity for the telecoms.
Now, more than ever, the Ron Paul Revolution must roll forward in force. It doesn't matter if Ron Paul can win the White House or not. What does matter is that we don't give up the fight against tyranny. The global elite have manipulated our lives for a century. Their schemes to destroy our currency, eliminate civil liberties, enslave us and our children, and spill our blood in the process are all clear and present dangers which must be resisted to our last ounce of strength. We must resist, or we must inevitably perish. For my Amish friends, for my family, and for my country I commit myself to the noble cause of freedom.
Paul's supporters are trying to mount a nationwide work stoppage April 15 — the deadline for filing 2007 federal income-tax returns — and rallies in the nation's capital and in cities and towns around the country. "They're asking people to take the day off from work to show solidarity with the idea that our tax system is unfair across the board," said Maureen France, co-chair of Volusia Tax Reform's executive board and a former DeLand city commissioner.
The conservative base does not support John McCain. Obama is a fake.
"You see a guy like Paul, who has fought for these principles for 30 years, and you say [to yourself], I need to do this, too. It's my civil duty to do this," says Brian Comer, an MTSU graduate and Paul meet-up member.
"I don't think it's very practical, and I think Republicans deserve to have at least a conservative to vote for," Paul said. "The conservative base does not the support John McCain because he's identified more with the liberal Democrats. So why should they be disenfranchised? Although the odds are slim, but they have a right to vote for someone that stands for traditional Republican principles: limited government, personal liberties. I mean, this is something the Republicans used to brag about and preach, so they deserve a chance to vote for that.
Given the dwindling number of primaries, “It is certainly winding down,” Paul said of his campaign in an interview Monday. However, “If you’re in a campaign for only gaining power, that’s one thing. If you’re in a campaign to influence ideas and future of the country, the campaign is never over,” said Paul who explained he has every intention of participating in the upcoming April 22 primary in Pennsylvania.
"My dad and McCain are so different, I'm not sure he'll even endorse McCain," says Dr. Paul. "My dad wants to pull out of Iraq. McCain thinks we should stay for a hundred years. I truly think the Republican party's lost it's way and we're going to go down to a utter crushing defeat if we don't change our ways."
Ron Paul's campaign has revived and renewed a knowledge and understanding of Constitutional governance as intended by the Founding Fathers--when you think of it subversive elements have been successfully undermining this for a century or more now--and within this revival and renewal the Revolution which has been birthed can evolve and persevere against the global elements which stand to transgress our Constitution, natural right and Divine Law
Erie Pa is going to deliver for Dr Paul. Things couldn't be better. Just two canidates on the ballot and our troops are getting bigger.
Congress is poised to pass the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) authorizing up to $50 million in unconstitutional foreign aid. The bill passed out of the Foreign Affairs Committee with a bipartisan agreement to nearly double the President's requested amount. It is always distressing to see officials in our government reach across the aisle to disregard Constitutional limitations.
McCain’s most horrendous loss occurred in 1967 on the USS Forrestal. Well, not horrendous for him. The starter motor switch on the A4E Skyhawk allowed fuel to pool in the engine. When the aircraft was “wet-started,” an impressive flame would shoot from the tail. It was one of the ways young hot-shots got their jollies. Investigators and survivors took the position that McCain deliberately wet-started to harass the F4 pilot directly behind him. The cook off launched an M34 Zuni rocket that tore through the Skyhawk’s fuel tank, released a thousand pound bomb, and ignited a fire that killed the pilot plus 167 men. Before the tally of dead and dying was complete, the son and grandson of admirals had been transferred to the USS Oriskany.
Too much importance is placed on political parties, the "Elite" don´t care whether the next president is a Republican or Democrat. With the exception of Ron Paul, the remaining candidates all have the same masters (with Hilary Clinton getting the nod). I´m sure the majority of Republicans (even if they didn´t support Paul), are probably not that happy with McCain carrying the flag. This is likely to be true for Democratic supporters, they too might have preferred a different choice (if they had one).
If you support the war then please head to the nearest recruitment office and put action to your words otherwise...bring them home.
The only other candidate carrying the debate forward is Congressman Ron Paul of Texas. Paul, the traditional conservative, free market, Christian, constitutionalist, noninterventionalist, America first, anti-gun control, pro-life, Reaganesqe, limited government, fiscally and monetarily sane candidate currently has less “pledged” first ballot delegates, but is willing to present his message of hope, prosperity and freedom throughout GOP ranks and the United States.
Paul's problem is the same one that plagued former Democrat Ronald Reagan: He really hasn't changed but his party has. Reagan, a conservative New Dealer, saw his party converted into a democratic socialist regime. Paul has seen the GOP degenerate into another big government warfare/welfare party whose leading nominee's presidential campaign theme is "Invade the World, Invite the World."
