Ron Paul’s Long Tail

But his appeal is to mainstream America as well. What could be more lewrockwellAmerican than the Constitution? Attempts to discredit Ron Paul as an extremist have largely failed, and his popularity is growing, the media are giving him a fair shake, and other candidates are aping him. However, attempts by the so-called "top-tier" candidates to emulate his strategy have been as unsuccessful as big media's attempts at blogging. Ron Paul's Long Tail will propel him to victory.

Ron Paul: Entangling Alliances

When we look at global situations today, the words of our founding texas straight talkfathers are becoming more relevant daily. We need to understand that a simple, humble foreign policy makes us less vulnerable and less targeted on the world stage. Pakistan should not be getting an "allowance" from us and we should not be propping up military dictators that oppress people. We should mind our own business and stop the oppressive taxation of Americans that makes this meddling possible.

Former Marine Responds to Glenn Beck

The image you have so carelessly planted in the minds of your viewers, daily paulthat regular, honest, hardworking American supporters of Dr. Ron Paul are a bunch of terrorists is not only inaccurate, but grossly negligent sir! And I take extreme umbrage with you assertions. I am a former Marine, decorated with a Good Conduct Medal, a Navy Unit Commendation, and an Overseas Deployment ribbon for my service to these United States from 1982 to 1986. The Ron Paul Advertising Agency

Regardless, in terms of ROI, looking at it from a purely financial standpoint. The Ron Paul campaign is highly efficient… to the point where spending zero to raise millions over the course of a week is no laughing matter, Hillary, Rudy, Obama and Mitt would love to see that ROI… but it’s not even close…. not by a mile.
His Campaign might be considered the most efficient in history, and he could thank his Advertising Agency for creating the most effective campaign on earth… his supporters.

Why Anti-Ron Paul Smears Will Backfire

None of the neocon smears against Ron and his supporters will work, for two lew blogreasons: first, he is a man of tranparent integrity and decency, unlike all the others; and two, the internet has changed the rules. Why Christians Should Vote Paul

Granting the belief that Christians should vote for the most biblically conservative candidate, his choice in a two-party election usually comes down to the most conservative Republican, as opposed to any Democrat who is usually a brazen supporter for killing babies, sexually perverse relationships and marriages, and stealing our tax dollars to enlarge the size of the government nipple.

An Apology to Dr. Paul

I am sorry you had to shoulder the load alone for 30 years. I repent for my daily paulapathy for my country. I have been self centered, seeking out what the government could do for or give me. No more. It is time to give back, to take back. I just paid off my donations for November 5th. I am well prepared for the tea party. I always read my American history books with awe. I always wondered what it would be like to actually make a difference. Now is the time. This is the American peoples' chance to do this without violence. We must unite and we must act. Support a Greater Good - Why Christians Should Support Ron Paul for President

I want to address you, American Christian. All others are welcome to patriot believerread and consider my points, and hopefully consider accepting Christ as Lord and in doing so, make this more relevant. But this will be directed at my brothers and sisters in Christ first. We as Christians seem to be more willing to place faith in something or someone and I believe sometimes it is blindly placed in something other than our Lord. This leads to enslavement, and usually we have a hard time realizing we are bound and thus an even harder time getting set free. My goal is to convince you to seriously consider our country’s future in regard to next year’s election, from a Christian point of view.

An Open Letter to the Protestant Community in Behalf of Ron Paul

Ron Paul is against constitutional amendments banning abortion, same-lewrickwellsex marriage, and flag burning precisely because he is following the Constitution he swore allegiance to. Another reason he opposes these amendments is because he is an advocate of that forgotten constitutional principle of federalism. He considers the division of power between the federal government and the states to be one of the virtues of the American political system. To alter this balance would endanger self-government and individual liberty. Dr. Paul is in favor of letting state legislatures decide social policy because federalism was established to allow decentralized, local decision-making. Following the Ninth and Tenth Amendments, he favors all authority over matters not specifically addressed in the Constitution remaining with state legislatures.

Why Are They So Afraid of Ron Paul?

All this buzz, however, has generated a counter-buzz, a sinister stream antiwarof smears and jeers coming from both Right and Left. What's instructive is how similar these attacks are in their viciousness, and, in the case of the "serious" mainstream critics, their juvenility. Whether coming from the liberal and ostensibly antiwar Kevin Drum of the Washington Monthly and Matt Yglesias of The Atlantic, or from some neocon hack over at the Weekly Standard, the "Ron-is-crazy" meme is being furiously pushed upstream against the raging current of the Paul phenomenon – so far, to little avail. He's a "fruitcake," sniffs Drum, and the beat is taken up by Yglesias, who chimes in with charges of "extremism." The Weekly Standard takes it a bit further, and, with its characteristic snark, dubs Ron the "don't tase me, bro!" candidate, complete with an illustration of Paul being hustled off the stage by uniformed thugs – which is what they'd like to do to all of their political opponents.

Ron Paul reveals what has been missing

Which brings me to my point. Ron Paul is living in an alternate reality from the reality these other entities have created. The craziest thing is that it’s actually the GENUINE reality. It isn’t based on mirrors and distractions. It is based on looking at the world and events for what they are, and using history and those experiences to direct us in the future. What a concept, a reality based on reality, rather than falsely concocted divisive thoughts that trickle down from the ones who are the most hungry for power.

Another third comes from the Army and a quarter from the Navy. Clearly, his experience and understanding of the war resonates with the men and women who are actually serving in battle overseas. I’d also like to clarify that Paul is not an isolationist; he is a non-interventionist. He supports trade and diplomatic relations with all and entangling alliances with none.

Ron Paul the Darling of Mainstream Press Now?

But it's the free press that may ultimately help his campaign. One of the reasons few had heard of Ron Paul was the fact that few mainstream media outlets would bring his name up. The tide is changing now.

‘Do you hear me, Mr. Ron Paul?'

That drama may now be starting, with Act 1 on the stage of high bdnfinance. Tipped by losses in the derivatives markets associated with mortgaged backed securities, the financial economy has started to slip and slide. This time, thanks to the gross imbalances facilitated by Bush's insane spending policies, the Federal Reserve can't play the usual trump card of slashing interest rates. Caught between a rock and a hard place, the dollar is in the squeezer, and in the end, we will drink the bitter results. Good-bye dollar. Thank-you, Mr. Bush.
Perhaps it is time for a third party savior - do you hear me, Mr. Ron Paul?

Ron Paul distortions and smears

This whole concept of singling out and labelling as "weirdos" and salon.com"fruitcakes" political figures because they espouse views that are held only by a small number of people is nothing more than an attempt to discredit someone without having to do the work to engage their arguments. Why Ron Paul matters as a Republican.

I’ll be more explicit. Republicans cannot win the Presidency without the libertarian swing vote. The libertarian swing vote is coalescing around Ron Paul. If the Republicans alienate the libertarian swing vote by continuing to make bonehead moves like banning Paul in Iowa - they lose the White House. If Republicans find a way to retain most of that vote regardless of whether Paul wins the nomination - the Republicans keep the White House. The way to retain that vote is for the Republicans to move in a libertarian direction and find their inner “Ron Paul”. This is the meaning of Ron Paul - Republican.

Ron Paul: Politics for Dummies

He seems to be teaching some very complex and difficult to understand lessons as a politician these days. He panders to his heart and mind. He adheres to the constitution, and never fails to vote based on it. He’s honest. He has integrity. He has unwavering principle. He listens, thinks, then acts. He talks to people, and answers their questions. He tells you where he stands and what he believes, regardless of how you may feel about it.

What the Ron Paul Revolution Could Accomplish

Ideally for those who advocate a return to constitutional principles in America, Dr. Paul will never have to face a decision about running for President as a third party candidate. However, too much momentum has been built to simply throw in the towel if the present battle is lost. Perhaps, then, the best outlet for that momentum is a bringing into the light of the farcical two-party system commonly referred to as democracy in America.

Everyday more Americans are discovering the Ron Paul campaign. That’s the good news. The challenge for the campaign is to get them to the polls in 2008 so Ron can win the nomination convincingly. At this point in the campaign, everyone in headquarters has to work nonstop to coordinate with all the early caucus and primary states to get the vote out.
